Dodmoor House is a wonderful barn venue. We love how homely this wedding venue feels. We’ve shot lots of weddings at Dodmoor and the staff there have always been so helpful. They are very friendly and always at hand to help the couple.
We really really enjoyed this wedding. We always enjoy weddings, but this wedding we really enjoyed… if that makes sense. It was good!
Kat and Luke are such kind, warm people and have such enthusiasm. we loved capturing that throughout the day. This is just a sneak peek, there are so many photos of them smiling and laughing.
Wedding Highlights
Luke’s emotional groom speech was special as was him getting his foot stuck in the dress during an amazing first dance. He styled it out and it mostly went unnoticed because it was such an incredible first dance. It’s easily the best wedding first dance we’ve seen. It was like something from a musical. Well done guys that must have taken a lot of practice! The best bit of the day for me though was our little walk down by the canal next to Dodmoor House. Without any hesitation, a passing boat, reversed their engines, moored up and said: “hey jump on”! Kat and Luke didn’t need asking twice, they even got to wear the captain’s hat. So very random, but so very brilliant! Another highlight was the sparkler exit. The Dodmoor House staff arrange a great sparkler exit and this one was so much enjoyed by Kat and Luke they ran around for a second run down. Brilliant and funny. Well done guys you had an amazing day I hope you love all your photos.
