Some couples want to maximise their budget and just get the key parts of the day captured. This is a great way of getting experienced quality wedding photography a little cheaper. Small and intimate weddings do have a unique vibe about them. In fact, some of my favourite weddings have been for under 30 people. Small Weddings, Large Weddings, Intimate Weddings, Elopements: I shoot the same, informal, relaxed, natural way. I always see myself as a guest at a wedding with a fancy camera, so with small weddings, I get to know everyone and feel part of the family which makes it feel all the more special.
If you're planning an intimate church ceremony or a city civil ceremony, I'll capture it! No matter the size, there is always feelings, emotions and joy for me to capture. Photographing weddings of any size is always a privilege and honour.

A popular choice for many couples is getting married at the beautiful gothic Northampton's Guildhall. Here, we have loads of experience with how weddings work and know the registrars well. Usually picking up the story with guest arrivals or a couple of pictures of the groom having a drink at the Bank across the road. The Guildhall makes a lovely backdrop for confetti and family group photos. We can slip away for 10 minutes or so and get some couple photos, in and around Derngate. Also, Delapre Abbey is close by, and this is a popular choice due to its beautiful open spaces and close proximity to the Guild Hall.
