WOW! GORGEOUS, ELEGANT BARN WEDDING WITH A CARIBBEAN TWIST!

Aimi and Dan got married this July at the impressive Dodford Manor, which is a beautiful barn in Northamptonshire. It was such a fun wedding on the hottest day in history! Lol

Getting ready

Aimi got ready at Dodford Grange with her bridesmaids, and the atmosphere was electric. Frankie, the owner of Dodford Grange, is the perfect host, and we would thoroughly recommend this as the ideal bridal prep location. Aimi then took the short trip to get to the ceremony. Which was taking place at Dodford Church: Holy Trinity and St Mary Dodford. Dan got ready at Staverton Park Hotel With his groomsmen, mother and page boy. He travelled to the ceremony with his entourage, prepared to greet his guests.

The ceremony

The ceremony was charged with emotion. The gospel singers filled the church with their incredible voices. Aimi’s Entrance was spectacular and moved Dan to tears. The hairs on the back of my neck sprung; When Aimi momentarily paused at the top of the aisle with her father brimming with pride, everyone gazing on in amazement. WOW. Dan, in tears of emotional joy, compelling. During the ceremony, they had several beautiful readings from friends and a guest reverend made a sermon too. It was so touching and just inspired.

The reception was in the barn at the venue. Aimi and Dan chose Dodford Manor because they just fell in love with it. It was a travel themed wedding, which was beautifully decorated and complimented by stunning flowers from Roz at Field Gate Flowers.

They had Carribean Steel Drums playing throughout the drinks reception in the afternoon, and DJ Dave packing the dance floor with his tunes in the evening.

We had such a fun time but my favourite time was enjoying going for a walk in Dodford Manors grounds with them and taking some beautiful natural photos along the way. Aimi and Dan were so much fun we could have spent all evening shooting in that stunning light.

The couple

Aimi wore a stunning Martina Lianar dress, and Dan wore a stylish suit hired from Peter Posh, and they looked so beautiful. Aimi’s dress was Incredible, and Dan’s shoes were a particular favourite of his.
